Cookie policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on TransportHub and how you can control your preferences. It should be read together with the Privacy policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device when you visit a site. They let the site recognise you on later visits and work correctly (for example, keep you signed in). Some similar information is kept directly in the browser memory (localStorage), without being sent automatically with every request.

2. The cookies we use

By default, TransportHub uses only strictly necessary cookies, for the platform to work and to remember your basic preferences. Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) are set only if you tick Marketing in the cookie banner.

Cookie Purpose Type Duration
th_session Keeps your session after you sign in (HttpOnly cookie, SameSite=Lax). Strictly necessary 30 days
th-locale Remembers the interface language you chose. Preference 1 year
th-cookie-consent Remembers your cookie choices, so we do not ask again. Strictly necessary 1 year (stored in the browser)
th-consent A copy of the accepted categories, read by the server so it never loads the Meta Pixel without your consent. Strictly necessary 1 year
_fbp Meta Pixel: identifies the browser to measure Meta ads (Facebook, Instagram). Set only if you accept Marketing. Marketing (Meta) 3 months
fr Meta: delivery and measurement of ads on Facebook and Instagram. Set by Meta only if you accept Marketing. Marketing (Meta) 3 months

3. Cookie categories

  • Strictly necessary: essential for authentication, session security and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be turned off from within the platform.
  • Preference: they remember choices such as the interface language, for a consistent experience.
  • Marketing (optional): the Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook, Instagram). It is off by default. If you tick Marketing, Meta receives the pages you visit, actions such as creating an account, posting freight or sending an offer (no name, e-mail or phone), your IP address and browser data. We use this to measure TransportHub ads and show them to interested people. Meta also processes it as an independent controller, for its own purposes, under the Meta privacy policy, and the data may leave the EU. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie preferences.
  • Analytics (optional): we currently use no analytics tool. If we add one, it starts only with your consent.
  • Support chat (optional): the Crisp widget loads only if you turn it on in the cookie preferences.

4. How to manage your preferences

You can update your cookie choices at any time from the preferences banner:

You can also delete or block cookies directly from your browser settings. Note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in and certain platform features may stop working correctly.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in technology or in legislation. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and the changes are recorded in the update log in the legal documents section of the platform.

6. Contact
